October 19, 2021

Show Notes

Jasmine Orsted’s story is one that proves no voice is too small. On this week’s episode of Students of Mind, Jayde is joined by Jasmine Orsetd, a speaker for anti-bullying and former athlete. Jasmine shares her story of intense racist bullying while preparing for college basketball tryouts inflicted by fellow teammates and upheld by the coach and college administration. She talks about the mental health implications that resulted from the experience, how she was able to survive it all, and what gave her the courage to fight back and against the school through a lawsuit–the result of which is incredible!
